Macros might just be easier than you think

2008 June 19

Most people in today’s world have no knowledge of what the word “Macro” means. But in case you were a bit confused about what macroing is, the most common one are keystroke and mouse macros. AutoHotKey can create macro scripts to modify mouse clicks and keystrokes to perform different actions on your computer. You can change CTRL+C to perform the functions “cut” instead of “copy”, and also transform abbreviations such as “btw” into full phrases such as “by the way”. In addition, the easy to use recording function and excellent documentation will have any new users started to playing around with this in no time. Although this program can do way more than just some simple tweakings, being the casual users like we all are, most of us would be perfectly satisified with just its standard features.
